Paralympian Louise Sauvage (pictured) was the special guest at Odyssey House's International Women's Day celebration on Monday.

The drug and rehabilitation centre's assessment and referral centre at Ingleburn hosted the day, which included Polynesian dance lessons, a choir performance, multicultural and arts activities.

Ms Sauvage, twice honoured as International Female Wheelchair Athlete of the Year, spoke about how challenges, commitment, motivation, passion and inspiration have shaped her life and outstanding sporting

career.

Odyssey House female staff and residents (a third of which are female) and their families participated in the day.
