Staff and P&C are also calling on past students to attend the event, which will honour the first Catholic co-educational high school in Macarthur.

``The celebrations next year will climax with a mass and school open day during John Therry Week, which will be held towards the end of 2010,'' P&C president Bryan Doyle said. ``It will also be a great year to hold class reunions.''

Mr Doyle said they were also looking at starting an alumni association so former students could keep in contact with the school.

``We would like former students of John Therry Catholic High School to get in contact with the school direct or via their school social networks,'' he said. ``In particular, we would appreciate any stories and pictures that might be donated to go towards an updated school history.''
