Be positive, it could be verse

POETS Eddie Labbad and Luke Carman are visiting Leumeah High School today to talk to students from the senior English classes.

They will perform their poetry and run a mini workshop and question-and-answer session with the students.

``I'm looking forward to working with the youth to find out how they think and to also encourage them to utilise positive outlets like poetry to express themselves,'' Labbad, a Campbelltown resident, said.

``A lot of the youth grow up feeling a lot of anger and resentment and some of them express themselves in negative ways only because they were never taught any different.

``If they are given the opportunity to emotionally grow, maybe they'll be able to make better choices.''

Those interested in having Labbad speak or perform at their school or function can contact Eddie on 0416069842 or at newagepoet@hot mail.com.
